The challenge
Making a Familiar Dairy Brand Stand Out in Everyday Conversations
Dairy products are deeply embedded in daily routines. From the first meal of the day to traditional sweets and festive preparations, they are familiar products in a highly competitive market.
For Adya Dairy, the challenge was to communicate a varied product portfolio — including milk, dahi, Mishti Doi, paneer, and ghee — through a consistent yet engaging digital presence.
Each category needed a different creative approach. Mishti Doi carried a strong connection with Bengali food culture. Ghee offered opportunities for traditional recipe-led communication. Paneer required appetising food imagery, while everyday dairy products needed simple, relatable messaging.
Beyond product communication, the brand also needed to participate meaningfully in festivals and culturally significant occasions.
**Our challenge was to create a versatile social media identity that could make everyday dairy products interesting while giving Adya Dairy a natural place in the celebrations, conversations, and traditions of its audience.**
The insight
The Best Brand Stories Begin with What People Already Love.
Food carries memories, emotions, and cultural meaning.
In Bengal, Mishti Doi is more than a dairy product. It is associated with celebrations, family meals, hospitality, and the sweet conclusion to a memorable feast.
Similarly, ghee evokes familiar flavours and traditional cooking, while paneer offers opportunities to connect products with enjoyable food experiences.
We recognised that Adya Dairy's communication could become more relatable by moving beyond conventional product showcases and connecting its offerings to these everyday associations.
The same thinking extended to festive content.
Rather than simply adding festive greetings to branded templates, we explored visual ideas rooted in regional culture, traditions, and familiar celebrations.
The insight was to connect product relevance with cultural familiarity — making Adya Dairy a natural part of everyday life and special occasions.**
The idea
Everyday Products. Culturally Rooted Creativity.
Ativitaa developed a social media communication approach that brought together product storytelling, contemporary visual design, regional language, and occasion-based campaigns.
The idea was not to apply one creative formula to every product, but to build a flexible communication approach that could adapt to different consumer contexts.
01 — Making Products the Heroes
We created visually distinctive product-focused campaigns using appealing food imagery, bold typography, and relatable copy.
From the summer-themed Dahi campaign to the rich, creamy presentation of Mishti Doi and the comforting imagery of ghee with everyday meals, each execution explored a specific product association.
02 — Bringing Regional Flavour into Brand Communication**
Bengali food culture became an important creative element.
Through Bengali expressions, familiar recipes, and references to traditional eating occasions, we developed communication that felt locally relevant.
Campaigns such as "Banglar Bhuri Bhoj" and "Khati Bangalir Khati Swad" connected the brand's Mishti Doi offering with the tastes and traditions of Bengal.
03 — Turning Occasions into Creative Opportunities**
We explored culturally meaningful visual treatments for Saraswati Puja, Netaji Jayanti, Onam, Men's Day, and other occasions.
The approach ranged from symbolic, minimalist designs to vibrant product-led festive creatives.
04 — Celebrating Durga Puja Through a Connected Campaign**
For Durga Puja, we developed a sequence of illustrated festival creatives under the campaign identity **#MaErHaatErPujo**.
The series followed the festival from Shashthi through Bijoya, using a recurring illustrated Bengali woman, festive expressions, different colour palettes, and Adya Dairy products.
The connected visual approach allowed the brand to maintain continuity across multiple festive posts while presenting a different message for each occasion.
Alongside the social media communication, Ativitaa also produced a dedicated Durga Puja digital video, extending the festive campaign work into an audiovisual storytelling format.
The overall creative direction brought together product appeal, cultural familiarity, and consistent brand communication across different digital formats.**
